I. Out of the three articles written for The State newspaper, I think that ultimately, "What Did Not Work: Effort to Centralize Homeless Services," by C. Grant Jackson, was the most effective editorial. It discussed various reasons as to why the Four Corners of Hope project proposal was rejected, and it also continued on to state possible ways to fix the proposal and still make it work. It analyzed all aspects of the project, such as where it would have been located, how much time and money it would take to build, and exactly why the community thought it would or would not be an effective investment. It clearly presented the issue at hand, then it discussed a "Business Solution" to the problem, and also provided a section about "What's Next." It was positive and optimistic.
